Time & Day

Day: Wednesdays

Dates: 4th March, 11th March, 25th March. (No lesson 18th March.)

Time: 19:00 – 20:15 lesson, followed by 30 minutes social dancing. Class always starts on time, and typically we start dancing a few minutes early.

Level/Experience Required

This course is the continuation of the February beginners II course. It is for people who have done about 8 hours of lessons in Balboa. It. As a bonus, we are organising to have a guest teacher on 25th March, Andrew Wilson! This is an "extra", meaning if the plan falls through, there are no refunds, but the flights are booked!

Do you need a partner?

You do not need to bring a partner as we rotate partners every few minutes. However, if you come with someone and you would like to dance just with them and nobody else, that is no problem!

Location

We will be in a beautiful ballroom, The Pillar Room, part of the Rotunda Hospital, which is at the top of O'Connell Street. Entrance is via a black gate on Parnell Square East/Cavendish Row. It is the very first building on your left, and "The Pillar Room" is over the door. Scroll down to see the map below.

  • Dance partners No partner required. We rotate partners every few minutes. However, you are 100% welcome to come with a partner and dance only with them during the class.
  • Age 18 and over

you will need further details in order to get in. Please email balboaclubdublin@gmail.com to get them. Please be mindful that the Rotunda is a maternity hospital. Do not try to enter through any other entrance than what is pinned on the map! Enter via Cavendish Row/Parnell Square East through a black gate. It is the first building on your left.
